Grazing fresh green pastures

Here's a recent shot of the goats. They're grazing a pasture that we planted last August. We seeded it with a mixture of perennial grasses and legumes. The white netting surrounding the goats is a portable electric fence that allows us to move the goats everyday to a fresh area to graze. This allows the previous area to start regrowing the day after it is grazed.

Less than two months to go!

Unless my observations are incorrect, it seems that all the goats are bred and just starting to show!  I expect the first births to be right around April 20th.  Most likely we'll see a window of births from April 20th to about May 11th.   Stay tuned for more!
